SOUP CONCERT

Opening night of a new concept: SOUP CONCERT, a concert for all the senses.

With Malou Berg and guitarist Jörgen Anderstig – and the songs of Malou aas its centre. Every time a secret guest is invited, often also the Summer Choir. Also served: a wonderful soup with bread and something nice to put on the sandwiches.

The Concerts in the Jernboden Gallery will be combined with visiting artists who will tell us about their artistry and – added to this – a wonderful buffet. Below you can read more about the programme of the opening night on July 1, 2012.

BETWEEN BOWLS AND WALLPAPER

A poetic, musical and artistic meeting with four personalities and a choir.

Singer Malou Berg lets the songs flow on the air waves and starts the energy rolling using bowls, a guitar and a piano.

Guitarist Jörgen Anderstig weaves his singing into this and it is not only the swinging that make the house vibrate, even quiet tones that pulsate through the veins.

The Summer Choir makes up one single voice singing in parts, lovely and overwhelming.

Poet and recipient of the Culture Prize, Johanna Backmann, personifies poetry. Letters flutter by, make up words, sentences, poems. Words to bury yourself in, words to reflect on, words to feel.

Artist Gerd Vading: Water colours, mild and touching colours that console the eyes and provide relief.

Soup, wonderful bread and something nice to put on your sandwiches that provide balsam for the body and tickles your tummy in a fabulous way.

Societetshuset: atmosphere, fantastic view of the sunset combined with the fragrance of the saline waves of the sea while they dash against the cliffs.

The audience: the invaluable playing partner at every concert that responds, sighs, lets go ...
All in all – a concert for all the senses
A concert that goes directly from heart to heart
