About the Video:
Malou Berg and Jorgen Anderstig sing 'Underbara sånger' together with the residents at Smedbygården, a special housing for people with dementia and alzheimer, located in �kersberga, outside
Stockholm. The video was recorded November 22, 2013. Those responsible for Smedbygården prayed that no accommodation would be filmed, so it avoided the extent feasible.
We sing along with the residents and have hand-picked songs that the old and demented recognize from their youth and childhood. The songs that they remember and love to sing along with.
We have song books with us, with large font that is easily readable. As a rule, we usually go on for about 30-40 minutes, depending on how the old get on.
For a long time we have every week gone to Smedbygården in Åkersberga, an accommodation specializing in dementia and Alzheimer's disease. Here we have been able to try out
what songs work well and these are the ones we have in our song book.
We sing and play completely acoustic, because it's not a concert, but a vocal moment where anyone who wants can join in. We sing together. We think that an acoustic sound creates
more well-being and is more pleasant to listen to. It is never too strong and does not irritate the ear. If necessary, we have a small amplifier that we can use.

Lalle på Spången, Vi går över daggstänkta berg, etc. We choose many waltzes, as we discovered that even those who can not sing along, who are enclosed
in themselves, react very positively to the roll-rate and begin to rock with the music.
